Job summary

R+L Carriers in California is seeking a Forklift Mechanic A for our Montebello Service Center. This full-time role pays an hourly rate of $32.97 and requires lifting up to 125 lbs, repairing and maintaining forklifts, pallet jacks, and hydraulic lifts.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of industry experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to create repair work orders on a computer. Company benefits apply upon eligibility.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience with repair/maintenance of industrial forklift trucks.
• Clean driving record for past 5 years.
• Electric & manual pallet jack repair/maintenance experience.
• Aerial lift repair/maintenance experience would be a plus.
• Must be able to use a computer for repair work orders.
• Must have your own tools on site; company provides specialized tools.
• Must be able to lift 100 lbs.
• Work in a fast-paced environment and be self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Rebuild, repair and maintain forklifts, pallet jacks and hydraulic lifts.
• Perform inspections and routine maintenance to prevent failures.
• Other duties as required by management.

Mechanic A Forklift, Hourly rate is $32.97 hr.

Full-Time, Monday - Friday, Various Shifts

Preferred Candidates will have the ability to lift up to 125lbs, work in a fast-paced environment as well as rebuild, repair, and maintain forklifts, pallet jacks, and hydraulic lifts. Successful candidates for this position must possess a good work ethic and be trusted to handle valuable customer freight. Other duties as required by management.

Requirements / Qualifications:

• Must have a clean driving record for the past 5 years.
• 3 years of experience with the repair/maintenance of industrial fork trucks.
• Electric & manual pallet jack repair/maintenance experience.
• Aerial lift repair/maintenance experience would be a plus.
• Must be able to use a computer for several different task including creating repair work orders.
• Must have your own tools on site. The company will provide specialized tools.
• Must be able to lift 100 lbs.
• Work in a fast-paced environment and be self-motivated.
