Warehouse Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled Forklift Mechanic / Industrial Equipment Technician to join our warehouse maintenance team.

You will diagnose and repair forklifts and material handling equipment, performing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure safe, OSHA-compliant operations. The role requires strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills, experience with electric and LP forklifts, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience repairing forklifts or industrial equipment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience troubleshooting electric and internal combustion forklifts.
• Ability to read service manuals and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and work in a warehouse environment.
• Possess a driver's license with a clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment.
• Repair electric, propane, and diesel forklifts.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, and steering components.
• Maintain service records and maintenance logs for all equipment.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Replace worn or defective components including motors, bearings, chains, and batteries.
• Support repairs on additional warehouse equipment such as: Dock levelers, Pallet jacks.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in the maintenance area.
• Work closely with operations teams to quickly address equipment issues.

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Mechanic / Industrial Equipment Technician to join our warehouse maintenance team. This role is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing forklifts and other material handling equipment to ensure safe and reliable operations.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, experience working on electric and LP forklifts, and a commitment to safety and preventative maintenance.
