Job summary

Seneca Foods Corporation in Baraboo, Wisconsin, is seeking a Forklift Mechanic to maintain and repair plant forklift trucks and related equipment. The role demands hands-on mechanical skill and strict adherence to safety protocols.

You will inspect, repair, and overhaul equipment, keep detailed maintenance records, stock parts, and assist electricians and machinists as needed. This is a full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Pass Mechanical Lift Test and Welding Test
• Have goods mechanical knowledge of forklifts and related equipment.
• Use hand tools, power tools, hoists, lubricating equipment and electrical and gas welding and burring apparatus.
• Requires the ability to bend, lift, carry, push and pull varying weights up to 40 pounds, sometimes in awkward positions.
• Requires ability to climb ladders and operation of high risers.

Responsibilities
