Job summary

PROTRANS INTERNATIONAL LLC in El Paso, TX seeks a dependable Forklift Material Handler to move and stack materials, inspect items, and maintain a safe, orderly area. You will read work orders, load/unload goods, and use a scanner for receipts and shipments.

The role requires basic math, attention to detail, and the ability to operate a forklift with safety. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus in some centers; HS diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform essential duties with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures.
• Prolonged standing, walking, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Reads work orders to determine materials to move and containers.
• Loads/unloads materials to pallets and carriers with forklift or by hand.
• Inspects items for identity, quantity and damage; uses scanner for receipts.
• Maintains clean, safe work areas and follows safety procedures.
• Completes receiving/shipping documents per ProTrans specifications.
