Job summary

Weller Truck Parts in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Core Pull Material Handler to locate and move cores and other products using a forklift. You will dispatch and route yourself via the Engage system on a tablet to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely material delivery and maintain safe forklift operation.

You should have a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 2+ years forklift experience, plus strong communication, time management, and the ability to operate the Engage tablet.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of forklift experience required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, time management and organizational skills required.
• Ability to read, interpret and operate the Engage system on a tablet.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently.
• Dispatch and route yourself through the Engage system on a tablet to ensure timely delivery of cores and materials.
• Identify, locate, and retrieve products within the warehouse.
• Inspect forklift daily and report issues to the team lead.
• Promote a clean, organized workspace through 5S practices.
• Possess reliable attendance and perform additional duties as assigned.
