Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc in El Paso, TX is seeking a Material Handler for a 12-month contract. You will move materials, parts, assemblies and finished goods using forklifts, conveyors, cranes, handcarts and power trucks within a plant or warehouse.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, 0–1 year warehouse experience, basic math and good communication. You will work 40 hours per week on all shifts and follow SOPs and quality guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–1 year warehouse experience or related training.
• Obtains and/or maintains appropriate licenses / training / certifications, as needed.
• Effective communication skills at a level co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand.
• Ability to read, write, interpret and comprehend documents written in English and perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to perform/operate in a metrics-driven environment.
• General computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Move materials, parts, assemblies and finished goods within a plant, office or warehouse using forklifts, conveyors, cranes, handcarts and power trucks.
• May maintain records.
• Develop skills in basic tasks within one skill area and apply prescribed steps to routine tasks.
• Work under clearly defined SOPs and/or scientific methods and adhere to quality guidelines.
• Work under general to limited supervision.
