Job summary

Hendrickson, located just north of Fort Wayne, IN, is seeking dedicated manufacturing candidates to operate sit-down, reach truck, turret, and order picker equipment and to supply materials across multiple work centers.

Responsibilities include accurate material handling, storage, staging, and proper loading/unloading with complete paperwork. A strong attendance history and forklift certification are required, with English literacy essential.

Qualifications

• Strong attendance history.
• Able to read and write legibly in English.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Completion necessary Forklift Certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment (Sit down, Reach Truck, Turret and Order Picker) in an efficient and safe manner.
• Supply multiple work centers with materials.
• Weigh or count, band and tag production material for storage or shipment.
• Placement of material in and out of storage and staging areas according to procedures.
• Maintain storage and staging areas in a clean and orderly manner.
• Load and unload trucks, account for correct number of containers/skids, complete paperwork accurately.
• Ensure chocks are in place before loading or unloading trucks.

Hendrickson is a supplier of truck suspension systems and components as well as an aftermarket supplier for various truck components to the heavy-duty vehicle market. Hendrickson has some fantastic opportunities for dedicated employees in our Manufacturing and Distribution operations just North of Fort Wayne, IN.

Daily Responsibilities

• Operate equipment (Sit down, Reach Truck, Turret and Order Picker) in an efficient and safety manner
• Supply multiple work centers with materials
• Weigh or count, band and tag production material for storage or shipment in an accurate manner.
• Placement of material in and out of storage and staging areas in an accurate manner according to plant inventory and production control procedures.
• Maintain storage and staging areas in a clean and orderly manner consistent with plant inventory control procedures and housekeeping standards.
• Load and unload trucks, accounting for correct number of containers/skids shipped, received and complete the necessary paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
• Make sure chocks are in place before loading or unloading trucks.

• Completion necessary Forklift Certification required
• Must be willing to drive a reach lift, sit down lift, order picker and a turret lift up to 30 feet.
