Job summary

Hendrickson in Lebanon, IN is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support shipping, receiving, and warehousing operations. You will prepare and load product, verify incoming materials, move items with forklifts, and package shipments as part of daily logistics.

The role requires lifting up to 70 lbs, outdoor work, and reliability. Applicants should be comfortable operating sitdown and stand-up forklifts, adhering to safety standards, and performing cycle counts and basic maintenance on equipment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and warehousing operations.
• Experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts.

• Able to work outdoors year-round.
• Possess driving certification and OSHA compliance knowledge.

• Disposes of scrap packaging utilizing equipment such as a compactor
• Exercises safe work habits
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications / Key Skills And Abilities Sought

• Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and warehousing operations, experience desired
• Ability to operate material handling equipment in a safe and courteous manner, as well as, successfully complete a driving assessment and pass an OSHA approved certification program
• Experience and proficiency in operating sitdown and stand-up forklifts preferred
• Knowledge of inventory and warehousing concepts that promote effectiveness
• Able to lift waist high up to 70lbs. and to handle various materials/product
• Ability and willingness to work outdoors year ‘round
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment
• Ability to meet performance standards by adhering to established work procedures
• Ability to identify and report problems/concerns while recommending solutions
• Ability to function as an effective team member
• Ability to attend work on a regular basis
• High school diploma or GED from an accredited program
