Job summary

The Job Shop in Perrysburg, Ohio seeks a dependable Material Handler to support a fast-paced manufacturing operation. You will move, stage and supply materials, operate a forklift and pallet jack, and help keep production running smoothly.

This is a first- to third-shift position with wage of $17 per hour, paid weekly, and the potential for permanent hire based on performance. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods and work well in a team.

Qualifications

• Previous material handling, warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and follow safety procedures.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Move and stage raw materials and finished products throughout the facility.
• Supply production lines and equipment with necessary materials.
• Load, unload, move and organize materials as needed.
• Operate a forklift, pallet jack and other material-handling equipment as assigned.
• Maintain proper material flow to prevent production delays.
• Verify materials and quantities for accuracy.
• Organize and maintain designated storage and staging areas.
• Assist with inventory and material tracking.
• Remove finished products and scrap from production areas.
• Follow established safety and quality procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment.
• Communicate material shortages or production needs to the appropriate supervisor.
• Perform additional production or warehouse duties as needed.

3rd shift 10 pm - 6:30 am
