Job summary

The Job Shop in Rossford, Ohio seeks an experienced Forklift Operator / Material Handler to support automotive parts manufacturing. You will safely move components, stock materials, and assist with shipping and warehouse tasks. All shifts available and weekly pay reflect a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have sit-down forklift experience, be safety-minded and dependable, and work well in a team. You will load/unload, move pallets, assist with inventory, and maintain clean work areas

Qualifications

• Prior forklift experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
• Experience operating sit-down forklifts preferred.
• Ability to safely maneuver materials in busy production areas.
• Strong attention to safety, quality and detail.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to move automotive parts and materials throughout the facility.
• Load and unload trucks and trailers.
• Transport raw materials and finished products to designated locations.
• Supply production lines with parts and materials as needed.
• Move, stack, and organize pallets and containers.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory movement.
• Inspect materials and containers for damage.
• Complete forklift inspections and report equipment concerns.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Assist with additional warehouse and production duties as needed.
