Hendrickson, located just north of Fort Wayne, IN, is hiring for a manufacturing and distribution role. The position involves operating sit-down, reach, turret, and order-picker equipment to move materials and support multiple work centers, with a focus on accuracy and safety.

The role requires the ability to read and write in English, a strong attendance history, and forklift certification. You will help with loading/unloading trucks, maintaining inventory, and paperwork related to shipments.

Responsabilidades

• Operate sit-down, reach, turret and order picker equipment safely and efficiently.
• Supply multiple work centers with needed materials.
• Weigh, count, band and label production materials for storage or shipment.
• Place materials in storage and staging areas per inventory control procedures.
• Maintain clean, orderly storage and staging areas.
• Load/unload trucks and document shipments accurately.
• Ensure wheel chocks are in place before loading or unloading.

Job Description Hendrickson is a supplier of truck suspension systems and components as well as an aftermarket supplier for various truck components to the heavy-duty vehicle market. Hendrickson has some fantastic opportunities for dedicated employees in our Manufacturing and Distribution operations just North of Fort Wayne, IN. Daily Responsibilities:

• Operate equipment (Sit down, Reach Truck, Turret and Order Picker) in an efficient and safety manner
• Supply multiple work centers with materials
• Weigh or count, band and tag production material for storage or shipment in an accurate manner.
• Placement of material in and out of storage and staging areas in an accurate manner according to plant inventory and production control procedures.
• Maintain storage and staging areas in a clean and orderly manner consistent with plant inventory control procedures and housekeeping standards.
• Load and unload trucks, accounting for correct number of containers/skids shipped, received and complete the necessary paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
• Make sure chocks are in place before loading or unloading trucks.

Qualifications

• Strong Attendance history
• Able to read and write legibly in English required
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs required
• Meet production-servicing standards required
• Completion necessary Forklift Certification required
• Must be willing to drive a reach lift, sit down lift, order picker and a turret lift up to 30 feet.
