Job summary

Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a manufacturing company, seeks a Material Handler to support warehouse and production operations. You will pull materials for production, maintain inventory accuracy, operate material handling equipment, and ensure materials are received, stored, and transacted properly across the facility. This is a contract-to-hire position at our Oakland, NJ site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of warehouse or manufacturing experience.
• Experience using RF scanners and material handling equipment.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
• Forklift certification required.

Responsibilities

This role is responsible for pulling materials for production, maintaining inventory accuracy, operating material handling equipment, and ensuring materials are properly received, stored, and transacted throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pull and deliver materials to support production schedules
• Operate forklifts, RF scanners, and other material handling equipment
• Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies promptly
• Return excess materials to proper bin locations
• Support inventory transactions and work order processing
• Maintain organized, safe, and efficient warehouse operations
• Collaborate with Production, Logistics, Quality, and other teams
