Job summary

SMH Logistics LLC is hiring a Forklift Driver/Material Handler to join our warehouse team in Auburn Hills, MI. This full-time role requires moving materials efficiently and accurately within the distribution center, with hands-on work using forklifts and RF scanners.

You should have at least 3 years of forklift experience, familiarity with RF scanning, and the ability to lift heavy items. Prior distribution center experience is a plus in our fast-growing logistics environment.

We are seeking a Forklift driver/Material to join our team. This is a full-time position. The material Handler will be responsible for the efficient movement of materials within the warehouse while ensuring accuracy. Must have 3 years of prior forklift experience.

Handle and transport materials within the warehouse

Utilize forklifts and other heavy equipment to load and unload materials

Operate RF scanners to track inventory movements

Support other duties and personnel directed by the operations manager

Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment

High Proficiency in operating forklifts - minimum of 3 years

Familiarity with RF scanners

Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment maintenance

Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed

Experience working in a distribution center is a plus

Compensation

$18 - $20 hourly
