Job Description

Talent One recruitment and staffing is searching for Material Handlers for a client company located in Moreno Valley, CA.

Material Handlers will work in processes associated with supplying tubes to various industries. These tubes are made from carbon, alloy, steel, and other metals, used in applications such as hydraulics, automated manufacturing, aerospace, energy, and heavy equipment.

Responsibilities include identifying products, measuring with tape measures, calipers, and micrometers, operating overhead cranes, and reach lifts. Ideal candidates will have experience in manufacturing, production, or fabrication environments and knowledge of measuring tools.

Position Details

• Type: Direct Hire
• Shifts: 1st and 2nd Shift
• Hours: 5:00am - 1:30pm; 1:30pm - 10:00pm
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, occasional weekends
• Pay Rate: $18/hr - $21/hr
• Willing to commute daily

Requirements

• 1 year of steel or industrial experience
• Experience operating overhead cranes, reach trucks, saws, and front-end loaders
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Good communication skills
• Experience with tape measures, calipers, and micrometers

Job Duties

• Operate side loaders and forklifts
• Operate warehouse equipment such as air grinders, metal straps, and razor knives
• Use measuring tools regularly
• Understand bill of lading, packing list, work order pick ticket, and pre-release pick ticket
• Complete paperwork and process orders digitally
• Operate overhead pendant cranes and automated saws safely
• Available for both 1st and 2nd shifts
