Job description

Pridestaff is currently seeking a Material Handler/Forklift Operator for a well-known car parts distribution center located in Rialto, CA. This is a long-term position with the opportunity for hire. Please see the job requirements below to be considered.

Pay Rate and Shift

• Pay Rate: $20-21 per hour
• Shift: Monday – Friday, starting at 6am or 7am, with an end time around 3:45pm or until work is complete. (Currently, the client is working 10-12 hours daily, plus Saturdays). Overtime is mandatory. The company offers a $100 monthly perfect attendance bonus.

Job Description

The role involves material handling in various departments: Inbound Receiving, Shipping, Returns, and Inventory. Candidates must be able to operate Cherry Picker and/or Stand-up Reach safely. However, new hires may not be placed on lift operation immediately; training may take 4-6 months before transitioning to this equipment.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required (verification via HS transcripts or diploma)
• Minimum of two years recent experience in a distribution center or logistics environment
• Stable warehouse experience in Inventory, Order Picking, Receiving, Shipping, and Packing
• Experience using RF Scanners
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when hand stacking/unstacking parts
• Experience operating Order Picker, Stock Picker, Forklift, or Reach Truck
• Ability to work at a fast pace on concrete floors while standing throughout the day
• Must pass a drug test and criminal background check prior to starting
• Must provide a resume, two positive work references, and participate in an interview
