Job summary

Environmental Air Systems seeks an experienced forklift operator to move materials within our Browns Summit manufacturing facility. You will load/unload trucks, maintain loading accuracy, and follow strict safety procedures while wearing PPE.

The role requires at least 3 years operating heavy forklifts (10,000 lb+), valid certification, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Reading and speaking English or Spanish is required; high school diploma or equivalent is expected.

Qualifications

• Reading and speaking proficiency in English or Spanish.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of forklift experience with 10,000 lb+ capacity.
• Valid forklift operator certification.
• Experience as forklift driver in manufacturing/construction.
• Strong forklift safety knowledge and procedures.
• Ability to operate safely in a fast-paced environment.
• Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and move loads.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Attention to load handling accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to safely and efficiently transport materials within the facility.
• Load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, racks, or shelves with proper securing.
• Follow safety procedures, wear PPE, and perform pre-operational checks.
• Inspect forklift and equipment for defects and report issues to supervision.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Participate in training to improve forklift operation and safety knowledge.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support company goals.
