Job summary

Staff Management | SMX is hiring Warehouse Associates in Union City, CA. The role involves data entry, order picking, packing, shipping, and material handling using forklifts and palletized processes.

You will work in a team, communicate clearly, and perform tasks across receiving, put-away, and dispatch operations in a clean, safety-conscious environment. Weekend availability may be required; 8-hour shifts apply.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate clearly.
• Basic arithmetic skills and ability to record metrics.
• Self-starting with solid computer skills (Word, Excel) and familiarity with SAP/ERP.
• Experience with forklift or material handling equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Data Entry typically 2.5 hours, dispersed through the day.
• Put away inventory using forklift with 80% forklift, 20% hand-stacking (10–110 lbs).
• Picking lightweight components from storage shelves up to 20 ft high with order picker.
• Packing e-reels and small items into boxes and larger cartons.
• Shipping: ERP labeling and shipment processing (mouse, scans, keystrokes).
• Transfer e-reels using pneumatic hoist and stage finished shipments on pallets.
