Qualifikationen

• At least 6 months forklift experience; able to move heavy/wide items.
• Ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical issues.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Unload materials from inbound trucks and store in assigned areas.
• Load materials onto outbound trucks following safe loading practices.
• Locate and move stock for storage or shipment.
• Identify damages and quality deficiencies.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Monitor gauges to ensure equipment runs within standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance and checks.
• Maintain housekeeping throughout the shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• 1) Understand and follow all safety procedures
• a) Current on all safety trainings
• b) Wear all required PPE when necessary (steel toe boots, safety glasses, ear plugs)
• 2) Understand Lock Out Tag Out procedures for assigned areas
• 3) Perform duties according to OSHA guidelines, policies and procedures
• 4) Complete General Plan Safety Training within the first 8 weeks

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 1) Unloading materials from inbound trucks and stacking them in assigned areas
• 2) Loading material on outbound trucks according to accepted safe loading practices
• 3) Locating and moving stock for storage or shipment
• 4) Identifying damages and quality deficiencies
• 5) Able to work independently and as part of a team
• 6) Monitors instrument gauges to ensure equipment is operating within standards
• 7) Performs preventive maintenance and checks
• 8) Performs housekeeping duties throughout the shift
• 9) Perform other duties as assigned or needed

SKILLS:

• 1) Requires high school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, of an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience
• 2) Must be highly motivated and able to work independently
• 3) Must have at least 6 months of forklift experience preferably, moving heavy or wide products
• 4) Must be able to troubleshoot minor mechanical issues
• 5) Prior warehouse experience is a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• 1) Must be able to lift at least 50lbs and to push-pull up to 75lbs
• 2) Must be able to work long periods while continuously walking, standing, twisting, bending, reaching, and stooping.
• 3) Must be able to work environment which is dusty and noisy
• 4) Non climate controlled warehouse
• 5) Requires some work outside
• 6) Must be able to work required shift and work overtime with short notice
