Job summary

Custom Assembly, Inc. is seeking a Loader for the 1st shift in Tanner, AL. The role involves operating forklift equipment, moving materials, and assisting with loading/unloading to support outbound shipments.

The position runs Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM with benefits including PTO, paid holidays, life insurance, and a 401(k) with company match. Prior warehouse experience and forklift certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Forklift operation experience required.
• 2 years warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift certification/experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklift and manually move materials to/from storage and load/unload trailers.
• Read and execute the Load Plan.
• Stage units and materials for counting and inspection; ensure shipping reports accurately reflect units shipped.
• Secure units with strapping to prevent damage during transit.
• Accurately complete receiving reports for units and material received.
