Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent.
• Certification as Polaris forklift driver required.
• Ability to operate forklifts: electric stand-up, electric sit-down, LP and side load.
• Ability to read routings, work orders, manifests, and production reports.
• Ability to count accurately.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to work with little supervision.
• Ability to operate overhead crane.
• MAPICS computer software proficiency.
• Adaptable to a changing environment.
• Willingness to work overtime on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to move materials and products within the department.
• Load and unload trucks at shipping/receiving docks.
• Verify part numbers, quantities, and PO info against packing slips.
• Assist across departments as needed based on training.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Complete paperwork for production records (labor reporting, tickets, SPC charts, manifests).
• Maintain a neat, clean, orderly work area.
• Use Radio Frequency equipment to transact inventory.
• Cycle count inventory and investigate discrepancies.
• Process small parcel shipments and receipts (UPS).
• Process outbound shipments and inbound receipts.
• Pick boxed merchandise from warehouse and print bar codes.
• Operate forklift outdoors in scrap dumping operations.
• Audit warehouse inventory and reconcile locations.
• Identify probable causes of discrepancies and report results.
• Prepare daily audit reports.
