Smith Industries is seeking a dependable Material Handler to support our warehouse operations. The role involves moving, organizing, receiving, and delivering materials while maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse.

Responsibilities include safely operating a forklift, transferring inventory between locations, and ensuring accurate documentation. Candidates should have a high school diploma and a valid driver’s license, with forklift experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Forklift operation experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Dependable, safety-conscious and team-oriented.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, move, and organize materials.
• Move inventory to and from the warehouse and other areas as needed.
• Receive, store, organize, and deliver inventory and supplies.
• Use a company vehicle to pick up parts and deliver them to various locations.
• Assist with loading and unloading deliveries and shipments.
• Maintain accurate documentation for orders and inventory transactions.
• Assist with monthly physical inventory counts.
• Identify and report damaged materials, shortages, or discrepancies.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized warehouse areas.
• Follow PPE and safety policies and assist with basic maintenance.
