Mazzella is seeking a general labor associate to perform loading/unloading, forklift operation, and material handling in a manufacturing setting. You will count and log inventory, assist with packaging, and ensure safe, efficient movement of coils and sheets.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, a high school diploma or GED, and the willingness to work overtime as needed. A strong mechanical aptitude and team-oriented mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or military experience preferred.
• Experience operating a forklift is desirable and may be required.
• Must be able to lift or pull a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Team-oriented with good people skills.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and planning abilities.

Responsabilités

• Pull/transfer coils and sheets and package as specified for each order.
• Operate forklift to support manufacturing.
• Load and unload will-call customers and freight with forklift.
• Operate equipment including cut to length, core cutter, and slitter as needed.
• Count, record, and report inventory of sheet, coil, and accessories.
• Report defective or substandard material, supplies, or products.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and tools.
• Maintain inventory locations and labeling of materials.
