Job summary

Sunbelt Solomon is hiring a Material Handler to move, store, and manage materials for transformers, ensuring timely availability and quality. Responsibilities include pulling orders, locating materials, maintaining inventory, and preparing shipments while adhering to safety and environmental regulations.

The role requires a HS diploma/GED, 1 year in material handling, WMS experience, strong safety record, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of experience in material handling equipment preferred (forklift, crane, etc.).
• WMS experience preferred.
• Proven track record in safety excellence required.

Responsibilities

• Move, store, and manage materials for transformers to ensure on-time delivery and quality.
• Locate materials by pulling and verifying against production orders.
• Maintain in-process inventory at work centers and deliver materials as needed.
• Prepare finished stock for shipment, including packing and crating as required.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment to move materials.
• Receive and inspect incoming materials for quality, quantity, and accuracy of shipment.
