Job summary

First Solar Inc. is seeking a Material Handler I to safely and efficiently manage materials in the warehouse and shipping dock. You will receive, store, cycle count, and distribute items, ensuring correct Oracle transactions for goods receipts and issuances.

You will operate forklifts, use RF scanners, and maintain accurate inventory while following safety protocols and 5S practices. This role supports production through timely material movements and accurate packaging for shipments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of sit-down forklift experience within the past 4 years is required.
• 6+ months of warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
• Industrial equipment operator experience is a plus.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in compliance with safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with EH&S policies and regulations.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to production areas or shipments.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on material handling equipment.
• Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
• Support 5S program and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Able to function as a courier and use hand tools as needed.
