Job summary

STS plant positions require a dependable team member to operate a forklift and support overall operations at the site in the United States. The role emphasizes safe lifting, routine safety checks, and strict adherence to FIFO inventory management.

You will follow work instructions, maintain a clean work area, and comply with IATF requirements. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• Operate forklift safely and complete safety check sheets at shift start.
• Rotate inventory to maintain FIFO.
• Follow plant safety and housekeeping standards.
• Read and understand operative work instructions.
• Lifts up to 25 pounds overhead as needed.
• Stand for long periods and work required overtime.

Responsibilities

• Ensures forklift truck is fully safe to operate by checking safety items and completing forklift check sheet at beginning of each shift.
• Shares responsibility for rotating inventory to ensure FIFO.
• Accepts assignments and other responsibilities as required in support of team objectives.
• Mantains good housekeeping in work area and throughout the plant.
• Adheres to applicable IATF requirements.
