Job summary

American Trim is seeking a forklift operator to support a busy plant in Kentucky. You will move parts in/out of racks, record movements in QAD, and help maintain accurate inventory counts across the site.

The role requires a valid lift truck license and the ability to operate safely in a plant environment. You will also assist in loading/unloading trucks and preparing shipping manifests as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have lift truck license or certification.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Move parts in/out of rack system and record movements in the computer (QAD).
• Evaluate inventory accuracy daily and ensure weekly physical counts.
• Develop shipping manifests (bill of lading, packing lists).
• Move materials to ensure continuous production, return unused materials to inventory.
• Load finished goods onto trucks and unload incoming materials; record movements.
• Perform daily preventive maintenance and safety checks on lift trucks.
