Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries in Mount Vernon, WA is seeking a Service Technician to support our sawmill operations. You will safely and efficiently perform preventative maintenance on gas and propane forklifts, loaders, and other equipment, and keep accurate maintenance records.

Candidates should have working knowledge of gasoline and diesel engines and prior mechanic or service experience; applicants must be at least 18.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of gasoline and diesel engines.
• Recent mechanic or service experience is preferred.
• All applicants must be at least age 18.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently perform preventative and routine maintenance on gas and propane forklifts, loaders, and other various equipment
• Conduct safety inspections of equipment and accurately maintain maintenance records
• Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations
• There is occasional heavy lifting and working in both hot and cold environments
• Work may consist of various shifts, with some overtime and weekend work during busy production times
