Job summary

The Performance Group is seeking a forklift operator for a Hanover, PA client on 1st shift (6:30am-3:00pm) and 2nd shift (1:30pm-10:00pm). Pay is $18.00 on 1st shift and $18.50 on 2nd shift.

Responsibilities include operating powered industrial forklifts, picking and transporting components, and maintaining inventory accuracy per OSH standards. CDL not required.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely operate and maintain a powered industrial forklift (Narrow Reach/Sit Down/Electric Pallet Jack).
• Accurately and efficiently pick, count, and transport components to designated production/shipping area.
• Set up production cells and ensure production areas are stocked to fulfill and ship orders.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely to support pre- and post-production processes.
• Pick and transport components to production/shipping cells with accuracy.
• Maintain inventory and perform Smart Sheets entries daily/weekly.
• Assist in setting up production cells to support daily manufacturing and sales fulfillment.
• Act as a liaison to production team to support lifecycle processes.
• Maintain quality and integrity of components and finished goods.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance needs.

• Forklift/High Reach

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ability to safely operate and maintain a powered industrial forklift (Narrow Reach/Sit Down/Electric Pallet Jack) to support the pre and post-production process.
• Accurately and efficiently pick, count, and transport components related to the production process to the designated production/shipping cell area.
• Arrange and actively participate in setting up production cells as necessary to support daily manufacturing and sales fulfillment requirements. Ensure production areas are fully stocked and have the continuous products needed to fulfill and ship orders.
• Act as a key support liaison to production team as needed, performing tasks as required to assist in the production life-cycle process.
• Complete and report on various inventory management functions including the accurate completion of Smart Sheets.
• Take ownership of the quality and integrity of components and finished goods.
• Maintain a high degree of attention required to prevent injury to self and others.
• Complete and record daily and weekly pre/post-shift forklift inspection checklist. Timely report all incidents and need for required maintenance.
• Able to receive and maintain forklift certification and perform daily required inspections per OSHA and Company standards.
• Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by Company and OSHA
