Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is seeking a 3rd shift forklift operator in York, PA. The role involves moving product, inspecting items, and applying shipping labels in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Earn $18 per hour with full-time status. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO, and tuition reimbursement. Training is provided, and eager teammates join a safety-focused team.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience operating material handling equipment (Forklift & Electric Pallet Jack).
• Strong sense of safety and ability to follow standard safety procedures.
• Team-oriented outlook with a passion for helping others.
• Desire to work with a team to support causes that positively impact our communities.
• Ability and willingness to follow all material handling equipment safe operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklift to move product from the ACP area to staging areas for loading.
• Complete inspection of product to ensure no damages.
• Verify correct product and apply shipping labels when needed.
• Perform equipment inspections & complete the appropriate form.
• Occasional lifting of varying case weight; ability to lift 1–60 lbs frequently.
• Frequent lifting from floor to overhead and work at varying heights.
