Job summary

Jordan’s Furniture is seeking motivated team members for its Taunton MA Distribution Center to join the Merchandise Handling team. No experience? On‑the‑job training is provided, with room to grow.

The role runs Mon–Thu from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm, and involves unloading, storing, and picking merchandise using forklifts and RF scanners. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits, with a strong team culture.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be certified to operate forklift and order picker equipment.
• Able to lift/move materials up to 110 lbs.
• Able to operate machinery up to heights of 35–50 ft.
• Basic communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload merchandise and place in storage racks.
• Move heavy items using equipment or manually.
• Inspect packaging and count items on arrival.
• Document work using RF barcode scanner.
• Maximize rack space and maintain safety standards.
• Perform equipment inspections and report issues.
• Comply with OSHA safety standards.
