Jordan's Furniture is hiring for a 2nd Shift Warehouse Merchandise Handler in East Taunton, MA. The role involves unloading and staging furniture by hand, with on-the-job training provided. Schedule is Sunday-Thursday, 2:00 pm–10:30 pm, with occasional extended hours.

Pay starts at $22 per hour with full benefits and opportunities for growth. You will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, handling mattresses, dressers, sofas, and other items; safety and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Safe work habits required.
• Ability to stand for long periods, up to 8 hours.
• Lifts up to 110 pounds, including heavy furniture.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work at heights of 35 to 50 feet.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Receives and unloads merchandise from trailers and places them in staging areas.
• Physically load and unload furniture with order pickers; maneuver equipment safely.
• Performs visual inspection of merchandise.
• Performs rack and sprinkler inspections.
