Job summary

Luttrell Staffing Group is hiring a Warehouse Forklift Driver in Illinois. The role requires operating sit-down/stand-up forklifts, using voice headsets for picking, and wrapping orders for loading. You will ensure accurate product placement and timely movement to the dock, while adhering to safety procedures.

The position is Full-Time, temp-to-hire, with weekly pay and a fast start date. Demonstrated ability to lift 50 lbs and pass driving/math tests is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to wear PPE: hair nets, gloves, steel-toe shoes, hard hat, hearing protection.
• Must pass driving test and math test.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and keep up with line flow.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick products by matching numbers and descriptions using a voice headset.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack; wrap with shrink wrap as needed.
• Place product in defined stacking pattern on pallets.
• Move completed orders to loading dock staging area with equipment.
• Report discrepancies or quality issues.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick products by matching numbers and product descriptions using a voice headset and stack cases of merchandise
• Use of Forklift, Hand shrink wrap tool, and voice active headset
• Place product in a defined stacking pattern onto the pallet
• Hand shrink wrap customer orders with label and move completed order to the loading dock staging area using an electronic pallet jack or walkie-rider equipment
• Report all discrepancies or quality issues
• Follow all safety procedures and adhere to all company policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Skills and Knowledge

• High school degree or equivalent
• Ability to wear PPE as necessary: hair nets, gloves, steel toe shoes, hard hat, hearing protection
• Ability to work in fluctuating temperatures and noises
• Ability to drive the sit-down and stand-up forklifts
• Will need to pass the driving test and math test
• Must be able to lift up 50 lbs and keep of with the line flow
• Ability to stand for duration of shift
• Ability to stoop, squat, bend, kneel, twist and reach
