Williams-Sonoma, Inc. Supply Chain is seeking a Forklift Driver/Clerk at our Dayton, NJ Distribution Center. The role requires forklift experience with Swing Reach, Reach Truck, and Order Picker, and RF scanning proficiency.

You will support daily warehouse operations, maintain documentation, and collaborate with internal teams in a fast-paced environment. The position is onsite with full-time hours, Monday through Friday with varied shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of RF scanner experience.
• At least 1 year of forklift driving experience with Swing Reach, Reach Truck, and Order Picker.
• Onsite role.
• Basic knowledge of Excel and Outlook.
• AS400 Warehouse Management system knowledge.
• Organized, detail-oriented, able to multitask.
• Excellent attendance and teamwork.
• Willingness to work full-time including nights, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to support daily warehouse operations.
• Maintain warehouse documentation and data entry.
• Process OS&D (overages, shortages & damages) and perform load closures.
• Communicate with internal teams and external personnel.
• Prepare pick sheets for the team and assist with task reconciliation.
• Own warehouse functions and ensure processes are completed correctly.
• Promote safety and maintain a safe working environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Forklift Driver/Clerk

Shift: Tuesday - Friday: 12:00pm-8:30pm; Saturday 10:00am-6:30pm

Pay: $18.00/hr

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. Supply Chain is hiring a Forklift Operator / Clerk for our Dayton, NJ Distribution Center.

This role is a great opportunity for someone who has warehouse experience, forklift experience, and strong attention to detail.

In this position, you will support daily warehouse operations through forklift operation, warehouse documentation, reporting, load closures, OS&D processing, and communication with internal teams.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced distribution center environment, can multitask, and is willing to jump in where needed to help the team.

You’ll be excited about this opportunity because you will:

• Ability to multitask and be detailed on all written and verbal communications/documentation.
• Executing standard operating procedures to process overages, shortages & damages (OS&D’s), perform load closures, data entry, and pulling reports.
• Coverage on load-planning/receiving/picking when necessary.
• Assist with daily task reconciliation and research on invalid cases.
• Prepare pick sheets for the team to complete.
• Take ownership of warehouse functions; ensuring processes are completed correctly.
• Effectively communicating via phone and email to internal and external personnel.
• Promote safety awareness and cultivate the safety culture throughout the company to help avoid unsafe or hazardous working conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Availability of working a full-time schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays, etc.
• Positive attitude, good work ethic, and strong communication skills.

Review these physical requirements, as they play a major part in this role:

• Able to bend, reach, squat, and climb stairs/ladders.
• Able to lift up to 75lbs.
• Comfortable walking/standing 90% of the day.
• Comfortable elevating on an Order Picker (OP) and Swing Reach (SW) up to 35ft.
