Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is hiring Order Picker Forklift Drivers for the Dayton, NJ site (and nearby South Brunswick). Pay is $19/hour day shift and $20.50/hour night shift plus benefits.

Roles are onsite with potential for overtime. You will operate various warehouse power equipment, pick orders, and help maintain accuracy and safety throughout the shift. The position emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and the ability to learn PKMS and other equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of forklift experience operating Order Picker, Swing Reach, Reach Truck, and Pacers.
• Onsite role in the Dayton, NJ facility.
• Excellent attendance and teamwork; willing to perform duties as needed.
• Strong communication skills (written and spoken).
• Able to learn warehouse management system functions (PKMS).
• Able to read and verify locations and SKU numbers.
• Willing to be cross-trained on WSI DDC equipment: Reach Tracker, Pacers, Swing Reach, Order Picker/TT, Motorized Pallet Jack.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, ability to work under pressure and be a fast learner.
• Flexible to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Daily pick for the Hub using the inventory system.
• Load/unload, stack, and stage products with power equipment.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through warehouse system updates.
• Keep aisles clean and organized; promote safety culture.
• Support staging and sweeping tasks as required.
• Perform duties as assigned by leadership.

The Order Picker Driver position is located in Dayton, NJ.

You’ll be excited about this opportunity because you will....

• Work with leadership to ensure the completion of all (Manual and On-Task) tasks by end of each day.
• Complete daily pick for the Hub with the use of our inventory management system.
• Utilizing the orders to understand where items need to be moved – may or may not include power equipment.
• Utilizing the warehouse system to maintain and uphold inventory accuracy.
• Ensuring the completion of all staging/sweeping tasks using power equipment.
• Loads and unloads, stacks, and stages products utilizing multiple types of power equipment.
• Ensure organization and housekeeping of aisles and surroundings daily.
• Promote safety awareness and cultivate the safety culture throughout the company to help avoid unsafe or hazardous working conditions.
• Other duties as instructed.
