The role ensures the efficient and safe handling of materials and products to meet production requirements while maintaining accuracy in inventory records.Key Responsibilities:Material Handling and TransportationOperate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and storage areas.Transport materials to designated areas within the plant or warehouse.Stack and organize products to optimize space and accessibility.Inventory ManagementAssist with inventory control by tracking materials and reporting discrepancies.Verify counts of materials moved against shipping or receiving records.Maintain accurate documentation for all material movements.Ensure proper labeling and storage of materials.Safety and ComplianceConduct pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues.Adhere to company safety policies and OSHA regulations for forklift operation.Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling materials.Report and address unsafe practices or conditions immediately.Material Issuance and DistributionOutsourcing injection plant outbound materialOutsourcing warehouse JIT inbound and outbound materialEnsure timely delivery of materials to production lines.Coordinate with supervisors and production teams for material requirements.Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficient operations.Documentation and Record KeepingAccurately document material movements, inspections, and inventory data.Ensure all records comply with internal standards and regulatory requirements.Assist with inventory audits as required.Communication and CoordinationCommunicate with material control and production teams to ensure accurate material flow.Notify supervisors of potential material shortages or inventory concerns.Coordinate with shipping and receiving teams for smooth operations.Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent required.Valid forklift operator certification required.Minimum of 1 year of experience in forklift operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Basic knowledge of inventory management systems preferred.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Flexibility to work weekends, nights, or overtime as needed.BenefitsHealth Insurance (Medical, Dental, Vision)STD/LTD/Life Insurance (Voluntary Life if applicable)401(k) PlanPaid Time Off (PTO)Relocation Support (if applicable)EEO StatementSECO Ecoplastic America is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
