Job Description

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must qualify for and maintain a Forklift License
• Must be able to use SAP to log/track inventory movements
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs

Work Schedule:

• Second Shift (2P – 10:30P), Monday – Friday, + $1.00 shift differential
• Ability to work all shifts as required by training needs
• Overtime on Saturdays and Sundays as needed

Plant & Community Overview:

• Approximately 300 employees
• Union Plant represented by UFCW Local 705
• Products include Vinegar, BBQ Sauces, Relish, Pickles, Mustard
• The Holland plant, operational since 1897, is known as the “pickle factory” but now produces only 5% pickles; it also produces mustard using grey poupon mills installed in 2016.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Unload raw materials, supply production with materials via lift truck, remove finished goods, and store raw and finished products appropriately.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and support Plant Quality Systems.
• Perform scheduled observations and training, and follow FSQ requirements.
• Check equipment before operation, fill out safety checklists, and maintain records.
• Operate lift equipment carefully to prevent damage or injury.
• Stack pallets, move heavy pallets, and perform other duties as assigned.
