Job summary

Terzo Enterprises in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a warehouse forklift operator to safely move pallets within our facility, load and unload shipments, and keep equipment and areas clean and organized while following all safety procedures.

This 2nd shift runs Monday–Friday, 3:00 pm–11:30 pm, with an hourly rate of $21.00. We offer a comprehensive benefits plan and equal opportunity employment. Must be 18+, have a valid driver’s license, and forklift certification prior to offer.

• Forklift certification required before job offer.

Responsibilities

• Move levers and pedals to drive the truck and lift equipment.
• Pull and prepare pallets for shipment.
• Maintain equipment and keep work area clean and orderly.
• Operate equipment safely following company methods.
• Follow OSHA/MSDS safety procedures with PPE.
• Unload and load shipments safely.
• Perform picking and pallet storage as required.

What you'll do?

Safely transport pallets within our warehouse that meet company and safety standards.

Hours:

2nd shift

Monday-Friday

3 pm - 11:30 pm

$21.00 per hour

Duties Include:

• Move levers and press pedals to drive the truck and control the movement of the lifting apparatus.
• Pull and prepare pallets for shipment as scheduled.
• Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Operate all equipment safely and efficiently following prescribed work methods.
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards and company safety procedures using Personal
• Protection Equipment (PPE) at all times while performing job duties.
• Unload and load shipments safely.
• Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards.
• Move, stack, and store pallets efficiently in the appropriate areas as required.
• Forklift candidates must present an OSHA Forklift Certification before the extension of a job offer.
