Job summary

Fresh Express in Morrow, GA is seeking a Forklift Driver to move materials within the warehouse, assist receiving, and ensure proper product rotation. The role requires operating powered trucks, following SOPs and safety rules, and maintaining orderly docks and coolers.

You will document activities, communicate with supervisors, clerks, production and QA, and support receiving and warehouse flow. Flexibility and bilingual abilities are valued; forklift experience and certification are a plus.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule able to accommodate shifts.
• Fluent in English; additional Spanish and/or Vietnamese is a plus.
• At least 1 year forklift experience preferred.
• Forklift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect powered trucks for operating conditions and safety.
• Operate powered trucks to move materials within the warehouse.
• Maintain proper SOP, safety, and Fresh Express policies.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and efficient workflow for all assignments.
• Complete all required documentation for the tasks performed.
• Keep dock, raw and finished cooler areas clean and orderly.
• Communicate with assistants, supervisors, clerks, production, and QA as needed.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Forklift Selector Summary:

The Forklift Driver associate may be asked to perform receiving. Generally, this position is responsible for using a forklift to move materials within the warehouse, which may include raw product, dry goods, or finished goods. This position is responsible for following proper procedures for product rotation and flow through the warehouse. The incumbent is also responsible for all documents and procedures required for this function.

Daily Tasks & Functions:

• Inspect powered trucks for operating conditions and safety.
• Operation of powered trucks.
• Compliance to SOP's, Safety, and all other Fresh Express policies.
• Accurate, timely and efficient workflow for all assignments.
• Perform all documentation required for function being performed.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area, including all dock areas, raw and finished coolers.
• Communicate with assistant/supervisors, clerks, production, and QA as needed.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.
