Job summary

ThriftBooks is hiring a 1st Shift Forklift Operator at our Austell Processing Center. The role runs Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM with starting pay of $19.14 per hour and scheduled increases.

You will work in a fast-paced warehouse, moving goods and supporting various functions while maintaining safety and quality standards. We offer health care benefits, a 401K plan, paid holidays and PTO for full-time employees, plus opportunities for career growth and free books as part of our team.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of forklift experience on both stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
• Excellent attendance and reliability.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically able to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Move materials around the Austell Processing Center.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed while maintaining safety.
