Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a reliable shipping/receiving clerk with at least one year of material handling experience for a hands-on role in our warehouse.

You will load/unload, verify deliveries, manage inventory, and follow safety standards while using forklifts and sheet metal handling when required. High school diploma or GED is required, strong attention to detail and good communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience as a material handler.
• Experience with sheet metal preferred.
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload inventory from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and production areas.
• Verify that all incoming deliveries match purchase orders.
• Store cargo in assigned locations using pallets and cargo boards.
• Manage and record inventory by identifying, cataloging, and tracking product locations.
• Record the number of units handled or moved daily using production sheets.
• Review pick sheets and pull the correct products to fulfill client orders.
• Follow all safety and health regulations.
• Assist in other areas as needed.

Requirements:

• Ability to reach, lift, and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a material handler.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of industrial equipment operation.
• At least one year of warehouse and forklift experience.
• Experience working with sheet metal preferred.
