Elwood Staffing is seeking a Forklift Driver for a temporary, full-time role in Fort Wayne, IN. The position involves operating sit-down/stand-up forklifts, loading and moving materials, and supporting production lines while maintaining safety and accuracy in inventory movement.

The role requires forklift experience, certification (or the ability to obtain it), and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Excellent attendance and reliability are essential for success in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience is required.
• Forklift certification is preferred (or the ability to become certified).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, and bend throughout the shift.
• Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic are essential.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts in a manufacturing environment.
• Load, unload, move, and stage materials throughout the facility.
• Supply production lines with materials as needed.
• Transport finished products to designated storage areas.
• Perform daily forklift safety inspections.
• Maintain accurate inventory and material movement.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies. Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.

Forklift driver Details:

• Temporary position
• $19.00 /hour
• Full Time work available
• Third Shift (Sunday through Saturday)

• Safely operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts in a manufacturing environment.
• Load, unload, move, and stage materials throughout the facility.
• Supply production lines with materials as needed.
• Transport finished products to designated storage areas.
