Type: Full Time; Hourly / Non-Exempt

Position Description: The Forklift Driver is responsible for preparing merchandise and securing it for safe, easy transport, communicating with leadership to determine priorities, and performing regular machine maintenance on forklifts.

Location: The position is based at DrinkPAK's headquarters in Santa Clarita, California.

Shift: Must be willing to work either day and/or night shift; 12 hours per day 2/2/3 Schedule

Responsibilities:

1. Unload and load trucks safely and timely.
2. Plan supply and material requirements based on production schedules.
3. Retrieve supplies and materials, secure pallets, and move them to production.
4. Maintain inventory and report discrepancies.
5. Clear production area of finished and empty pallets.
6. Document movements of supplies, materials, and finished goods.
7. Ensure a safe work environment following safety standards and regulations.
8. Operate and maintain forklifts, troubleshoot, and perform preventative maintenance.
9. Participate in educational opportunities to update job knowledge.
10. Maintain positive relationships with all levels of leadership.
11. Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
12. Follow safety rules, GMPs, and company policies.
13. Uphold high standards for quality, housekeeping, and productivity.
14. Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum 3 years experience in manufacturing/warehouse environment; forklift experience preferred.
2. Forklift Certification required.
3. Understanding of forklift operations (electric or propane).
4. Ability to operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts safely.
5. Experience with WMS systems.
6. High School Diploma required; Associate degree preferred.
7. Bilingual in English & Spanish preferred.

Compensation: $23.00 per hour plus $2.00 night shift differential.
