With 15 distribution centers strategically located throughout the nation, HF Foods Group aims to supply the increasing demand for Asian American restaurant cuisine.**PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:**The Forklift driver is responsible for operating and managing industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines and loading docks, into railroad cars or trucks or storage facilities. Bilingual Mandarin Chinese is a plus.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*** Loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving warehouse items* Transporting materials to different locations within the facility* Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency* Securing loads to the machine before transportation* Inspecting for damages to vehicles* Scheduling vehicles for maintenance and repairs* Adhering to safety management standards* Picking and wrapping orders for shipment* Any other duties as assigned by the management**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:*** Excellent hand-eye coordination* Proficiency in operating technical machinery and RF scanners* Good physical condition* Mathematical aptitude* Attention to detail* Drug Screening will be REQUIRED**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:*** Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying.* Must be able to move up to 50 pounds at a time.**EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING:*** High School diploma or equivalent required* Valid fork-lifting certificate* 1+ years of warehouse experience**WORK CONDITIONS:**(The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
