We have an exciting opportunity to work for a nationally recognised horticultural business, considered to be the leader in its field. Pay rates from £13 per hour depending on shifts. The role of Forklift Driver is based in Ingham, near Bury St Edmunds.

You will need a valid counterbalance forklift licence to apply for this role.

Shifts for Forklift Driver

• 06:00 to 15:00
• 07:00 to 16:00

Pay

• From £13 per hour
• Paid weekly

Main Duties of Forklift Driver

• Ensure forklift check sheet is completed daily
• Receive and process Glasshouse products from suppliers, including wrapping, label adherence, and final inventory checks
• Check for damaged or missing items
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment within the service area
• Report discrepancies on goods in and dispatch
• Communicate with management and colleagues
• Operate warehouse equipment including forklift trucks safely as per training
• Follow dock safety procedures when loading and unloading containers
• Complete daily checks on tipping machine, sensors, and report faults
• Ensure timely loading and unloading of tipping machine to maintain throughput
• Prevent mixing of fruit colours
• Empty green tipper bins daily
• Assist block managers with forklift duties as requested
