Job summary

Vesuvius North America is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to sort, unpack, receive, and store materials daily, using RF scanners and ERP systems.

You will report discrepancies, assist with audits and inventory, follow safety rules, lift up to 50 lbs, and contribute to accurate production readiness in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• RF scanner experience
• 1 year forklift operation
• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Basic measuring and math skills

Responsibilities

• Sorts, unpacks, receives, checks, and stores materials accurately, daily.
• Identify and report discrepancies immediately.
• Will work with the ERP system.
• Participate in and coordinate movement of materials throughout the facility.
• Inspect and maintain viability of stock storage areas.
• Ensure that stocking, staging, and storage areas are safe and clean.
• Works with handheld scanning device.
• Replenishes locations multiple times daily to ensure product available for daily production.
• Pulls product accurately with close diligence.
• Ensure that all quality related problems are correct and reported to the supervisor.
• Follows detailed instructions, processes, and procedures.
• Assist with audits/ inventory / cycle counts.
• Know, understand, and follow plant safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications For Shipping / Receiving.

• Experience in working with RF scanners.
• Minimum of one year experience of operating a forklift and have the ability still do so.
• Must be able to lift to up to 50 lbs.
• Basic measuring and math skills required.
