Edsal Manufacturing Co. LLC is seeking a dedicated forklift operator to support our warehouse and production environment in Gary, Indiana. You will move materials, load and unload trucks, and help maintain organized storage and shipping areas.
Ideal candidates have forklift experience in manufacturing or warehouse settings, a focus on safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team. Certification is preferred or you can obtain it after hire.

This position is responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, unload, and store materials throughout the facility. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment and a strong understanding of safe forklift operations.
Monday – Friday, 7:00AM – 3:30PM

Employees in this role are regularly required to stand and/or walk for extended periods, often for the duration of a full shift. The position requires frequent use of hands and arms to reach, handle, grasp, and manipulate materials and tools.
Employees must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive motions involving the hands, wrists, and arms. Bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching overhead may also be required.
Employees must have adequate vision and hearing to safely operate equipment and work within a manufacturing environment.
Work is performed in a plant/warehouse setting. Personal Protective Equipment is required i.e. safety glasses, and steel toe shoes/boots. Temperatures may vary. Exposure to dust, noise and extreme weather conditions.
Required personal protective equipment (PPE) may include safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toe footwear, protective gloves, and other safety equipment as required by company safety policies.
