Job summary

Allegion Steelcraft is seeking 1st Shift Forklift Drivers to support material handling for manufacturing and service departments. The role requires reliable, safety-minded teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting into the Frames or Doors Value Stream, forklifts move finished product and incoming materials. Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM. Rate: $24.02 per hour. This position offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Visual acuity with depth perception and color discrimination.
• Ability to stand continuously and maintain balance.
• Capable of lifting 25–50 pounds and moving heavy carts.
• Ability to walk, push & pull heavy carts.
• Climbing, kneeling and crouching may be required.

Responsibilities

• Move product into the facility, move manufactured product out of the facility, deliver purchased material and small parts to production areas.

Qualifications

• Visual acuity with strong depth perception and color discrimination.
• Ability to stand continuously or near continuously and maintain balance.
• Capability to lift, carry 25‑50 pounds, stoop, twist, reach overhead or to the side for at least four hours per day.
• Ability to walk, push & pull heavy carts occasionally.
• Climbing, kneeling, and crouching may also be required.
