Job summary

Staffmark in Abilene, TX is seeking a Warehouse Personnel to operate forklifts and support receiving, packing, shipping, and inventory handling in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You will work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional Saturdays. Pay rate is $17.00 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and safety-focused procedures. This position emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year forklift experience.
• Experience operating heavier-capacity forklifts preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic math and number skills.
• Steel-toe shoes required.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Must be available to work Saturdays as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming shipments.
• Verify product quantities and inspect inventory for quality.
• Store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Load outgoing shipments onto trucks.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies.
