Job summary

Central Network Retail Group, LLC (CNRG) in Greenwood, MS, is seeking yard and warehouse associates to deliver excellent customer service while handling merchandise, unloading or loading trucks, and assisting customers and contractors.

You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, load materials for delivery, protect company assets, maintain a clean yard and warehouse, and support store operations. High school diploma preferred; forklift certification and basic math skills are required.

Qualifications

• Must be forklift certified.
• Some delivery experience.
• Experience dealing with the public.
• Basic math skills; adequate reading, writing and speaking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers or contractors upon entry to yard or warehouse.
• Operate forklift to merchandise and stock yard and warehouse.
• Assist truck drivers in delivery of merchandise to homeowners and job sites.
• Load materials into customers' vehicles or delivery vehicles, verifying type and quantity from POS records.
• Develop expertise related to operation of forklifts, warehouse lifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment.
• Unload incoming freight without damaging goods or carrier equipment.
• Prepare loads for delivery and ensure proper packing and securing of items.
• Identify product shortages and report to store management.
• Maintain yard and warehouse in clean, orderly condition.
• Assist cashiers or staff with customer needs at register and counters.
• Assist with contractor sales counter functions as needed.
