Responsibilities

• Reads shipping orders to determine items to be moved and distributed.
• Sorts and stores materials by size, type, color or product code.
• Operates forklift/hand-truck to move shipments to storage or work areas.
• Assembles customer orders onto pallets or shelves; labels and packs.
• Inspects shipments for damage, resolves discrepancies with shipper, records shortages.
• Maintains inventory accuracy and uses computer to enter records.
• Supports all warehouse functions and ensures safety and cleanliness.
• Pulls production orders to floor, ensuring FIFO and timely delivery.
